Brunch with the buddy Jel

The next morning we decided to hit up Longman & Eagle. My buddy Matt Lyons was workin’ the kitchen and gave the out-of-town homie a nice Chicago welcome.

Yup… That’s a whole pig head on a bed of greens. The server introduced the dish as their “vegetarian salad.”

The brain had the consistency of pate and tasted like chicken liver. Not filling though, me and Dips went and got ramen immediately after.
